8 of us met at Lake Crescent to dive the Warren Car. 3 of us with scooters continued on to the Steel car. Depth of the Warren Car 165', depth of the Steele Car 195'. Bottom time was 25 minutes, time to reach the surface another 55 minutes.

May I congradulate and praise you all for this exceptionally CLEAR video. Great depth of field, great lighting, great music. You fellows have done the Warrens and Bev Sherman, Dale and Dede Steele and Gary Lind and all who work on these projects, a great tribute.
Greg,
Nice videos. I was the Park Ranger and dive team leader who lead the effort to find the Warren and the Steele car back in 2001, 2002 and 2003 and was the lead investigator in the recovery of Russel Warren's bone in 2004. Both car sites appear to have changed a bit since 2002 and 2003. The Steele car roof is total coilapsed and the engine cover has been pulled up. Looks like a few souvenier hunters have been busy. It's a real shame that there are a few divers who just need to take something off the cars as a rememberance of their dive. People should take only pictures and not touch anything. Both cars are far too fragile to be "used". I have about 25 dives to the Warren car and about 10 dives to the Steele car. Both are great dives and lots of good fun. I'm glad to see that you and the other 8 divers enjoyed your dive trip. Seeing divers make use of the cars as dive destinations makes me believe that all the hard work we put into these discoveries was worth it. Please pass on the preservation message to other divers.
Thanks Dan
