Puget Sound Divers is a group of friends with like minded diving styles and similar interests relating to the discovery and preservation of submerged cultural resources.

Through the utilization of sidescan imagery, historical research, and physical evaluation; Puget Sound Divers hopes to bring a wealth of knowledge and access to the local diving community.

Formed in 2006, Puget Sound Divers has steadily increased its capability to explore the underwater environment.  The area of focus is primarily in the Seattle area and the team actively dives the Puget Sound and Lake Washington.   To date this team of experienced divers has located and surveyed dozens of underwater wrecks and structures.

Through the support of the local dive community and sponsorship from individuals interested in the preservation of our submerged cultural resources Puget Sound Divers is actively locating new and interesting sites.

It is the vision of Puget Sound Divers to encourage the involvement of all divers in their efforts. Wreck locations and uncontrolled access however has been placed on hold due to recent vandalism of two known wrecks. Divers wishing to participate with this team should contact us through this website.
